Biographie :

Holding both a MSc from Mines ParisTech and a MBA from ESSEC, Nicolas Hunsinger aims to develop an expertise, grounded in science, at the crossroads of Corporate Sustainability, Tech and Media, by combining strategy, innovation and change management skills. He has a proven track record in leading teams, developing talent, driving culture change and setting strategic directions for an organization.

Nicolas\\\' purpose is to harness the power of tech and media to unleash action from each of us to create a desirable and sustainable future.

Nicolas helps translate climate change and other environmental issues for the business, and answer questions like \\\"What can I do? What does this mean for my job, my products or services, my tech, my business model?\\\". He overcomes those concerns with science-based information that he further develops into strategic plans and actionable roadmaps. He did it for several operations (software dev, IT & hosting, procurement, HR, marketing, finance), business models (premium, subscription, freemium) and tech (blockchain, cloud, generative IA).

As the transition to a low carbon economy will shape the future, he supports organizations in turning more-sustainable practices into competitive advantages. Committing early to sustainability help to create new value propositions (talent attraction / retention, attracting capital, new services etc). To create value, he manages the topic with the same discipline and commitment that you would apply to other business initiatives: strategic and purposeful intent, sharp focus, an organization-wide accountability for results, impact sought through value-chain collaboration, engaged employees and customers.

There is a new era of leaders understanding that they have to make a commitment even though they may not know all the way to get there. He helps them by driving governance of sustainability and science-driven decision making. To make sustainability a standing agenda item at executive level, he empowers leaders and builds a mindset that embeds sustainability principles in a way that grows and adapts to the business (cost-savings, new customer outcomes etc).

His expertise led him to be invited to talk at the European Parliament and major industry events. He collaborates with leading think tanks and research bodies like Carbon Trust, the French agency for ecological transition (ADEME) and Project Drawdown. He is laureate of the Palmares Giverny x Le Point 2023 recognizing 50 leaders under 40 who contribute to the ecological transition in France.
